Can't beat this for the price! Charges in the Canon charger that came with my Rebel, and lasts a looong time. I recycled the original Canon battery already, but when I looked after first getting the Lenmar, the rated capacity was considerably higher than the oem. This is the only aftermarket Li-ion battery I've ever bought for my electronics, and I am very pleasantly surprised!

It works. I am happy with the product. The batteries do not glide on and off quite as easily as the Canon charger but it seems to charge them quickly and I like the options of car charging on a single unit (although have not tried the car charger).

Customer Review: WARNING! NOT for HV20
Amazon now (4/26/07) has this linked with the Canon HV20 Camcorder, both as a "buy these togather" and listing this in the accessories section under the HV20. Everything I see, including Canon web site and email from Canon support, is that this is incorrect. The HV20 needs the BP-2L14 not a BP-214. ( The longterm solution is for Canon to be more sensible with their part numbers. ) But for now I suggest anyone research this before going for Amazon's suggestion for this for an HV20.

I just got this battery about 2 weeks ago and it is great! It is also great for the price. I bought a different battery at BB for $45 and the charge hardly lasted! So I returned it and ordered this one. I took over 200 pictures this past weekend and have not had to charge my battery yet. Great!
